Newlon Housing Trust is a charitable housing association founded in Hackney in 1968 to provide decent and affordable homes for local people.
Today we provide 8,000 homes across north and east London and we remain as committed as we were in 1968 to supporting the needs of one of the UK’s most diverse communities.
Newlon Housing Trust is the parent of the Newlon Group which includes:
- Newlon Housing Trust is a registered provider of social housing, a charitable housing association and a not for profit organisation. We are regulated by the Homes & Communities Agency and are a community benefit society. We use public and private money to build affordable homes across north and east London. The Trust directly manages most of the properties we have developed.
- Newlon Home Ownership is the Trust’s specialist property sales and marketing team dedicating to supporting people to find and move into our Shared Ownership housing.
- Outward is our specialist care and support partner. It is a charity that provides care and support to more than 1,000 vulnerable adults each year, primarily in the areas where Newlon provides housing. Find out more about www.outward.org.uk.
- Access Homes Housing Association is a small non-charitable housing association. Like Newlon Housing Trust, it retains any financial surpluses to re-invest in its housing activities. Access also provides services to leaseholders.
