Newlon Home Ownership is a charitable housing association founded in Hackney in 1968 to provide decent and affordable homes for local people.
Today we provide more than 6,000 homes across north and east London and we remain as committed as we were in 1968 to supporting the needs of one of the UK’s most diverse communities.
The Newlon Group consists of four organisations.
- Newlon Housing Trust & Newlon Home Ownership
Newlon is an industrial and provident society and a charitable housing trust. We use public and private money to build affordable houses and enrich the communities across North and East London. The trust directly manages most of the properties we have developed. - Outward
Outward is a charity that provides care and support to more than 300 people with mental health problems or learning disabilities. Find out more about Outward by visiting www.outward.org.uk. - Access Homes Housing Association
Access is a small but fast growing non-charitable housing association. Like Newlon Housing Trust, it retains any financial surpluses to re-invest in its housing activities. Access also provides services to leaseholders. - Newlon Fusion – Supporting individuals, serving communities
Newlon Fusion is the award-winning community regeneration, training and youth services arm of Newlon Housing Group. Newlon Fusion supports people living in areas of deprivation to maximise their ability to succeed, through the provision of quality employability skills or training and by working with neighbourhoods to improve the quality of lives.
The three main strands of the work are Community Regeneration, Adult Training and Youth Provision for people over the age of 16. Find out more about Newlon Fusion by visiting http://www.newlonfusion.org.uk
